My Peculiar Adventures
Final Year Project
This project effectively communicates moral messages to children aged 7 to 11 in Singapore, to counter the negative influence new media has on their self-development.
It adopts an ideal narrative structure and fantastical elements used in films by Hayao Miyazaki, a Japanese animator and screenwriter.
Design Statement:
The adaptation of Miyazaki’s use of narrative
structures and fantastical elements, into an interactive form of storytelling
to effectively convey moral messages and positively influence the
self-development of Singaporean children aged 7 to 11.
Objective of Project:
To encourage and inspire positive
self-development in children aged 7 to 11 in Singapore through a interactive form
of storytelling that adopts the ideal narrative structure and fantastical
elements, which will effectively convey moral messages to children.
